Purpose

Heads the company Academy and manages the day to day Education Operations, in accordance with company goals and company business plan.

 Tasks and Responsibilities

Responsible for Education business development and reseller certification programs, delivery of professional trainings on the company software, the development of that training and development of sales- and marketing material.

 The goal of the position is 2-fold:

  1. To grow a beneficial revenue stream, by further expanding and professionalizing the training offerings.
  2. To facilitate the on-boarding of (new) resellers and to ensure trough a certification process that they possess the right knowledge

 The Manager Education ensures that training offerings are of good quality and in line with industry best practice. Works in close cooperation with Product Management and ensures delivery of (modified) training offerings in line with company’s release calendar.

The Manager Education manages the revenue growth and department profitability, including related forecasting processes and promotion of Education offerings to (potential) customers and partners.

1. Generate revenue for the company Academy in line with the business plan

2.  Define portfolio of Education products and commercial collateral

3.  Manage and develop the Academy team members

 4.  Develop course materials in line with new product releases and state of the art training delivery concepts

 5.  Improve department and service quality

Main activities

  • Maintain KPI reporting every month
  • Propose improvement of service and operational processes (improvement plan) to COO
  • Implement approved improvement plans

6   Develop the services portfolio and delivery systems

Main activities

  • Describe and maintain the Academy products
  • Describe and maintain presentation material about the department and its processes, ready for use in customer presentations
  • Implement and maintain training delivery systems and processes
  • From time to time, evaluate the service proposition and if needed create new services or adjust the current proposition, including communication to sales and customers

Job Requirements

Education level

  • MSc level

Experience, knowledge and skills

  • Must have > 5 years experience in selling and developing training at a software company;
  • Must have > 3 years knowledge and experience on Learning Management Systems, courseware tools, training design;
  • Must have experience with people management;
  • Commercial mindset and experience with educational concepts and change management;
  • Can speak and write fluently in English. Other languages are highly appreciated.
