Purpose


Manages a medium to large or complex project, in order to deliver a solution within
predefined quality, time and budget.


Tasks and Responsibilities

  1. Customer satisfaction
    Ensures optimal delivery of the solution as defined in the project plan to obtain optimal
    customer satisfaction and intimacy.

    Main activities
  • Understands customer needs;
  • Understands the business value of the company solutions for customers;
  • Encourages cooperation between customer and the company.
  1. Project plan
    Defines project specifications and planning, agreed with the stakeholders, under
    supervision of a senior, resulting in a manageable project.

    Main activities
  • Validates and accepts the assignment;
  • Writes the project plan;
  • Sets up the work break down;
  • Defines project resources.
  1. Project Coordination
    Actively coordinates all required resources in the project, within the scope of the project
    plan, in order to deliver a solution within predefined quality, time and budget.

    Main activities
  • Defines and distributes project documents;
  • Proactively communicates with all parties involved;
  • Maintains the agreement with the customer;
  • Monitors project in relation with project plan;
  • Manages potential risks;
  • Leads the project team.
  1. Sales
    Proactively signals potential company-business in order to obtain extra income and increase
    customer satisfaction.

    Main activities
  • Assists in presales cases;
  • Translates the questions from customers to a proposition;
  • Informs account management on possible extra work.
  1. Planning & Administration
    Ensures timely and correct planning and administration, within the company standards and
    agreements and in accordance with customer-administrations, to ensure a professional
    delivery.

    Main activities
  • Ensures timely and correct administration of time sheets;
  • Ensures project delivery within time, within budget and agreed quality;
  • Records all financial data;
  • Prepares project invoices and accounts;
  • Monitors progress of own tasks;
  • Communicates on forehand about possible delays or overrun.
  1. Competence and knowledge development
    Develops and coaches (jr) project managers in order to assist them in their growth.

    Main activities
  • Knowledge transfer;
  • Ensures knowledge is embedded;
  • Coaches juniors;
  • Assists others with complex activities.



Quantitative

Project budget up to € 0.5 million.
The project team is up to 6 active members.


Job Requirements


Education

  • BSc level.


Experience, knowledge and skills

  • More than 2 years project management experience;
  • Level IPMA-D e.g. Certified Prince 2 Foundation.
