Purpose
Leads several simultaneous business design and business implementations and core
consulting assignments, driven by a unique understanding of business processes on
management level, to allow the customers in different areas to improve their
business strategy.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Customer satisfaction
Ensures optimal delivery of strategic solutions as defined in project plans under his/her
supervision to obtain optimal customer satisfaction and intimacy.
Main activities
- Manages the customer-expectations with respect to company possibilities;
- Monitors, maintaining and enhancing customer relations;
- Anticipating on new business.
- Strategy
Follows future business trends and needs and translates these trends to suggestions for
innovative new concepts.
Main activities
- Signals SWOT in company markets;
- Generates new ideas and concepts in company-portfolio to customers;
- Delivers publications on BC subjects;
- Appears in seminars.
- Consultancy and support
Leads business design/implementation assignments on a strategic level, based on future
business trends to enable customers in different areas to achieve and maintain the
leading position in the market.
Main activities
- Advises customers on senior management level on strategic core business related issues;
- Operational excellence;
- Translates Business concepts to clear IT concepts.
- Sales
Proactively signals and generates new company-business in order to obtain extra income and
increase customer satisfaction.
Main activities
- Informs account management on possible extra work;
- Negotiates with customer for additional work;
- Produces independently commercially feasible proposals;
- Takes the lead in (parts of) large and complex sales cases (national and international);
- Generates leads from own network.
- Planning & Administration
Ensures timely and correct planning and administration of the project/contract team within
company standards and agreements and in accordance with customer-administrations, to
ensure a professional delivery.
Main activities
- Ensures timely and correct administration of time sheets of the project/contract team;
- Ensures team delivery within time, within budget and agreed quality;
- Monitors progress of project/contract team;
- Communicates on forehand about possible delays or overrun.
- Transfer of knowledge
Takes initiative in the development of qualities of business consultants.
Main activities
- Contributes with creative ideas on maintaining and improving team morale;
- Develops Training Plan;
- Initiates activities to build up knowledge in the BC group;
- Assists others with complex activities;
- Prioritizing strategic versus on-going commitments;
- Coaching other team members.
Quantitative
- Team size up to 15 consultants;
- Independently scores order-intake up to 500k euro yearly.
Job Requirements
Education
- MSc level;
Experience, knowledge and skills
- Has more than 10 years BC experience in many common business consulting area’s (e.g.
- CRM, BPM, change management, customer interaction management (ider manned channels or human assistant channels for online customer interaction), PM etc);
- Is Experienced in Program Management.
