Purpose


Leading complex strategic UX projects driven by a business oriented UX-vision for
innovative digitalizing of our customer’s complex sales and service processes


Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Customer satisfaction
Ensures optimal delivery of the UX as defined in the project plan to ensure optimal
customer intimacy and satisfaction

Main activities

  • Deep understanding of the domain and of customer priorities
  • Creating UX vision for one or more strategic areas for client
  • Understanding the business value of the company solutions for customers
  • Stimulating cooperation between customer and the company
  • Anticipating on new business


2. Vision and Strategy
From a strategic customer understanding builds an innovative and business driven vision
for digitizing of the customer’s sales and services

Main activities

  • Well recognized established UX authority
  • Spreads knowledge of best practices throughout team and company
  • Input to key decision makers impacts future direction of one or more product areas
  • Defining new UX processes and standards
  • Company responsible for contributions to Style Guide
  • Follows trends and studies in digitalization
  • Signals marketing trends


3. Design
Leads service concepts from conceptualization through prototyping to implementation for
large and complex applications in various disciplines

Main activities

  • Defines new design standards
  • Conceptualizes customer’s self-services
  • Designs high level flows
  • Leads user testing
  • Leads large projects from concept to launch


4. Consultancy
Leads large core consulting assignments on digital business solutions in strong crossfunctional
relationships of large customers

Main activities

  • Makes independent decisions and consults when appropriate
  • Advises customers on core strategic UX related issues.
  • Guards and monitors the concept
  • Gives presentations to CIO level of large companies


5. Administration and Additional work
Defining, maintaining and interpreting (project) administration and planning, within the
rules of the company accounting, in order to keep profitable business

Main activities

  • Decides when services are ready for implementation
  • Reports to Project manager
  • Executes activities within budget
  • Recording all financial data
  • Pro actively identify extra work
  • Proactive check on overdraw


6. Transfer of knowledge
Development of the UX qualities of the consultants, within company standards, in order to
assist them in their growth

Main activities

  • Coaching on the job
  • Transfer of knowledge
  • Contributes with creative ideas on improving team morale
  • Prioritizing strategic versus on-going commitments
  • Mentoring other team members


7. People Management of UX department
As a mature leader the Principal can act as a managing consultant 


Job Requirements


Education:

  • BSc or Msc in Design and/or HCI


Experience, knowledge and skills:

  • Strong skills in user interface and page design
  • 6 years background in IT-Archtecture
  • Significant cross product and company culture knowledge
