Purpose


Independently developes vision and strategy for the company and leads the independent units of the enterprise, approved by the Board of Directors, in order to secure the continuity of the company.


Tasks and Responsibilities

  1. Vision and Strategy
    Develops and organizes strategic plans for the company with a convincing vision, approved by the Board of Directors, to ensure the unity and the stable future growth and existence of the company.

Main activities

  • Anticipates on future macro economic changes;
  • Translates them into current decisions;
  • Defines future structures on prices, organization and markets;
  • Develops and monitors goals and policies on future leadership;
  • Reaches consensus with Directors;
  • Reaches agreement with Board of Directors.
  1. New Business
    Initiates and develops new business activities, on own initiative, in order to ensure the future market position of the enterprise.

    Main activities
  • Develops and helps implementing plans and short and long range objectives for new service lines;
  • Commissions Business Unit Managers and Directors;
  • Assists in start up of new business.
  1. Business Plans
    Leads Management to develop their (yearly) business plans and develops an overall plan,
    to ensure unity and future business of the enterprise.

    Main activities
  • Analyses and assesses market opportunities and possibilities and growth (SWOT);
  • Verifies (existing and new) large-customer potential;
  • Examines financial performances;
  • Examines required (human) resources;
  • Checks on quality improvements;
  • Organizes further action plans to meet needs of stakeholders.
  1. Business Management
    Leads the enterprise towards objectives, advises and leads Management to implement their
    business plans to ensure profitable (yearly) business.

    Main activities
  • Leads the leverage process between customer needs and enterprise possibilities;
  • Helps set up the marketing of new solutions and products effectively;
  • Develops and monitors primary goals;
  • Proactively monitors and reviews results of business operations and adjusts deviations;
  • Reports progress to the Board of Directors at the right time;
  • Manages the quality exceeding the market standard;
  • Initiates actions on environmental awareness.
  1. Customer satisfaction
    Manages the Managers process of optimal delivery of their portfolio as defined in the
    business plans to ensure optimal customer intimacy and satisfaction.

    Main activities
  • Understands large-customer needs;
  • Understands the business value of the subsidiaries solutions for customers;
  • Assists theManagement in leading their staff leveraging between satisfying implementations and modest means;
  • Stimulates cooperation between international customers and the enterprise.
  1. Employee Satisfaction
    Manages Management directly and the subsidiary staff indirectly, according to the HR policies, to ensure the staff to cooperate in a motivated and ambitious manner.

    Main activities
  • Consults, coaches and assesses Management;
  • Motivates the activities by radiating vision and stimulating cooperation and synergy;
  • Identifies and develops an overall leadership structure;
  • Develops, in conjunction with human resources effective human resources people management plans and strategies;
  • Establishes organizational structure of all the activities and assigns authority.
  1. External Communication
    Acts as a spokesperson on executive level of all customers and towards all employees, inspiring customers and employees towards the future vision and direction of the enterprise.

    Main activities
  • International customers, government agencies, shareholders, employees and the public;
  • Introduces large customer contacts;
  • Keeps up with existing customer relations of very large customers;
  • Chairs seminars or appears as speaker on strategic business issues;
  • Only spokesman on strategic and important issues to the media.

Job requirements

Education

  • Seasoned managerial knowledge and experience in IT organizations on academic level.


Experience, knowledge and skills

  • 5 years experience as Director in IT;
  • Training for senior management positions.
