Purpose


Tests and reports findings, under supervision of a senior, according to the defined test
procedures, test scripts and schedule, in order to determine the software quality.


Tasks and Responsibilities

  1. Test Script
    Assists in defining the test scripts, within procedures and test plan, in order to enable
    accurate testing of software solutions.

    Main activities
  • Writes test scripts.
  1. Testing, reporting and administration
    Tests software solutions, according to the defined test procedures, test scripts and
    schedule, in order to determine the software quality.

    Main activities
  • Performs the functional testing (e.g. system tests, acceptance tests, regression tests)  either alone or in a team;
  • Configures the test environment;
  • Reports test results.
  1. Sales
    Proactively signals potential company-business in order to obtain extra income and increase
    customer satisfaction.

    Main activities
  • Assists in presales cases;
  • Informs account management on possible extra work.
  1. Planning & Administration
    Ensures timely and correct planning and administration, within the company standards and
    agreements and in accordance with customer-administrations, to ensure a professional
    delivery.

    Main activities
  • Ensures timely and correct administration of time sheets;
  • Ensures delivery within time, within budget and agreed quality;
  • Monitors progress of own tasks;
  • Communicates on forehand about possible delays or overrun.

 


Job Requirements

Education

  • (level of) BSc degree in IT.


Experience, knowledge and skills

  •   No prior work experience.
